Mazan is a charming small Provencal town whose medieval center is built on top of a hill. Ten minutes (6km) away from Carpentras on one side and from the first Ventoux’ slopes in the other direction. Also close to Avignon, Dentelles de Montmirail and Lubéron as well, Mazan is one of the main cities of the Comtat – Venaissin.
Located in the southeastern part of the Rhone wine region, It is famous for its wines and delicate Muscat du Ventoux black table grape.
